Short answer
Don't choose on price alone. Look mainly at the file you get, how many streams you expect and whether your engineer needs separate stems.
- Basic MP3: an MP3 file and, on the beat page we checked, up to 20,000 streams.
- Premium WAV: a 24-bit WAV file and up to 50,000 streams.
- Trackout: a 24-bit WAV plus separate stems and up to 100,000 streams.
- Unlimited: WAV plus trackout stems and no stream limit within the listed terms. The beat stays non-exclusive.
What fits your release?
Mainly putting out a first single and not expecting big numbers yet? Then Basic can be enough. Want better audio quality for the mix? Choose Premium. Getting the track mixed in depth and want control over separate parts of the beat? Then Trackout makes more sense. Unlimited fits better if you want as few usage limits as possible.
Want exclusivity?
With an exclusive purchase you buy different rights than with a standard non-exclusive license. Availability and terms are discussed directly with NameOnTheBeat.
Always check the product page
License terms can differ per beat or over time. So before you buy, check the current file types, stream limits and usage rights on the product page of the beat you pick.
