How much does Spotify pay per stream?
Spotify doesn't pay a fixed rate per stream. Royalties come from a pool based on Spotify's revenue in each market, shared across all streams there. Estimates usually land around $0.003 to $0.005 per stream before your distributor or label takes its share.
Why do I sometimes earn nothing on Spotify?
Since April 2024 a track only counts for royalties once it reached at least 1,000 streams in the previous 12 months, plus a minimum number of unique listeners that Spotify doesn't disclose.
